BYO reception venues

Hi everybody,

I hope the wedding planning is going well. Very Happy

Would anybody know or can recommend a nice place, reception venue, that allows BYO drinks and catering?

I've checked some community halls but not really like them. Also I've been looking at Sailing Clubs or Life Saving Clubs, but then they dont allow BYO drinks.

Also, I would really like a place close to the sea, since a balcony or nice view would make the day perfect already. Cool

Maybe I'm asking too much.

Hope you guys would hav some thoughts to share. Boots

Glen Ewin Estate does but that isn't near the beach. Beautiful venue though.

I don't know of any others sorry

You could probably put a marquee up at Maslins House?

The South Adelaide Football Club are very flexible with what they offer brides and grooms. One of the girls on here desperately wanted a beach wedding and reception but wasn't able to find something suitable and she is now having her function here. It's not on the beach but is very close.

Is there a particular area that you are wanting, southern beaches or west?

Hi Katey,
The shores function centre will allow your own caterer and BYO, there may be some others as well, but on a whole their hire fees are quite expensive.

We went with a hall in the end - the ballroom function centre. No nice scenery but the hall itself is beautiful!
